Commissioned by Fabian Bloch and featured on his album Spot On - The Next Generation of Euphonium Music, Wheeap! Bursts onto the scene with vibrant energy and reggae inspired rhythms.

Written to showcase the euphonium’s playful agility and warm, singing tone, this piece dances between off-beat grooves, bright melodic hooks, and moments of cheeky virtuosity. The title itself ‘Wheeap!’ suggests a playful exclamation, perfectly capturing the spirit of the music: spirited, joyous and full of life.

At its heart, Wheeap! is a celebration of spontaneity and style, inviting both performer and listener to embrace the sunshine-soaked world of reggae, all through the rich voice of the euphonium.
